Results of the Lucie Besner Travel Awards Competition – Winter 2025

The MRM Network is pleased to announce the results of the Winter 2025 Lucie Besner Travel Awards competition.

The Lucie Besner Travel Awards support the national and international presence of the MRM Trainees. For the Winter 2025 Competition, the MRM Network is awarding four $500 prizes to cover travel and/or registration fees. The MRM Prizes and Awards Committee evaluated each submitted application.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the 4 Awardees:

• Simran Jaffer, Master Candidate in the Wagner Lab (Experimental Medicine)
• Max Kowalczyk, Ph.D. Candidate in the Huang Lab (Neurology & Neurosurgery)
• Diego Loggia, Ph.D. Candidate in the Hébert Lab (Pharmacology & Therapeutics)
• Iram Fatima Siddiqui, Ph.D. Candidate in the Reinhardt Lab (Anatomy & Cell Biology)
