Science POP Competition at McGill
Calling all graduate students and post-docs doing research in health sciences! McGill University’s Centre de recherche en biologie structurale (CRBS), in collaboration with the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBMS) and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS), is hosting an internal scientific communication competition devoted to health sciences.
The competition will take place on Friday, April 14, 2023, in the Palmer Amphitheatre (McIntyre Building, 6th Floor) from 2 – 7 PM. Abstracts must be submitted by February 17, 2023, no later than 12 PM. To attend the competition as an audience member or as a challenge candidate, you MUST register online before April 6, 2023.
1st place winners of the competition’s 3 challenge categories will advance to the provincial Science POP competition where they will compete against the winners from 13 other Quebec institutions. Additionally, 1st place winners of the 3 categories of McGill’s internal competition will receive a prize of $200.00 CAD and 2nd place winners will receive a prize of $100.00 CAD.
This competition is open to all full-time trainees at McGill completing graduate or postgraduate research activities related to health sciences.
