Results of the Lucie Besner Travel Awards Competition – Winter 2023

The MRM Network is pleased to announce the results of the Winter 2023 Lucie Besner Travel Awards competition.

The Lucie Besner Travel Awards support national and international presence of the MRM Trainees. Over the Winter 2023 Competition, the MRM Network is awarding three prizes of $500 to cover travel and/or registration fees. Each submitted application was evaluated by the MRM Prizes and Awards Committee.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the 3 Awardees:

• Ajay David, Ph.D. Candidate in Michel Cayouette’s Lab (Neuroscience)
• Julia Messina-Pacheco, Ph.D. Candidate in Alex Gregorieff’s Lab (Pathology)
• Vasikar Murugapoopathy, Ph.D. Candidate in Indra Gupta’s Lab (Human Genetics)
