The Lucie Besner Travel Awards Competition is open
While the current pandemic has drastically disrupted the organization of national and international conferences and will have a severe impact on the way we will travel within the next few months, many institutions have managed to move their meetings online. For this reason, the MRM Network has decided to maintain the Lucie Besner Travel Awards 2020 Summer Competition to allow MRM Trainees to attend these online meetings by helping to cover registration fees.
The 2020 Summer competition is now open and covers meeting occurring between August 2020 and January 2021. The deadline to submit your application is Tuesday, June 30th.
To be eligible:
- You must be a current MRM Trainee Member. Contact us to verify your status or register.
- You must have an abstract submitted for a presentation at a national or international meeting that will take place between August 2020 and January 2021.
- You must use the Award to attend a meeting related to Regenerative Medicine or to present your work on Stem Cells and/or Regenerative Medicine.
The award shall be up to a maximum of $500 to cover registration fees and/or travel fees (transport, accommodation, meals).
Only one application per laboratory will be allowed by competition.
How to apply?
Applicants must complete the application form, and following the form submission, must send by email the proof that their abstract was submitted for an oral or poster presentation.
