Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed PhD student or a postdoctoral fellow to join our research group (Dr. Vahab Soleimani‘s lab) at the LDI. The project involves multi-omics approaches including scRNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq, mass spectrometry-based proteomics, muscle stem cell transplantation models and high throughput computational methods to unravel interactions between muscle stem and niche cells during development and during physiological aging.

Requirements

We are seeking ambitious candidates who possess excellent oral and written communications skills, great team player with excellent knowledge of molecular biology and genetics. Previous experience with skeletal muscle stem cells is an asset but not a requirement. We provide excellent training and mentorship.

Pay

Salary will be based on standard LDI/McGill University scale for the position.
