Postdoctoral position – Stem Cells and Cell Reprogramming Lab, IRCM

The Stem Cells and Cell Reprogramming Laboratory at the Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM), headed by Dr. Mohan Malleshaiah, is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and driven Postdoc to join an interdisciplinary team of scientists. Our laboratory works in the field of stem cell biology, cellular reprogramming, cancer and computational biology. We strive to precisely understand the molecular basis for stem cell fates by employing a combination of cell biology, biochemistry, genomics and computational approaches. We routinely use high-throughput genomics and proteomics methods, including at the single-cell level. Our team is highly multi-disciplinary, and members with different expertise and backgrounds work in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Applicants should have completed a Ph.D. in biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, systems biology or related discipline. To complement our team and projects, we are looking for a candidate with significant experience in cellular, molecular and biochemical approaches, with an emphasis on genomic scale data analysis. Candidates with specific experience in stem cell biology, genomics, proteomics, CRISPR, and the associated computational analysis will be given strong consideration.

Availability

A full-time postdoctoral position is available from September 2022 until filled.

How to apply

Interested candidates are requested to forward a Letter of Interest (cover letter) and a full CV (including the names and contact information of 2-3 referees) by email to mohan.malleshaiah@ircm.qc.ca.

All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. However, Canadians and Permanent Residents will be given priority. Only candidates with strong academic and publication records will be considered.
