The McGill Regenerative Medicine Network (MRM Network) is committed to creating a research network that tackles research priorities leading to the advancement of scientific knowledge in the field of stem cells and regenerative medicine at McGill University and beyond. The MRM also facilitates the translation of new discoveries into clinical practice, trains a new generation of regenerative medicine investigators and aims to address societal and ethical issues associated with the use of these technologies. The MRM Network strives to promote strong transdisciplinary connections between fundamental and clinical research at McGill University.

Tribute to Charles Leblond
Nearly 70 years ago, Professor Charles Leblond led McGill in regenerative medicine with the first report of mammalian stem cells. Since this 1954 discovery, the regenerative medicine field has advanced remarkably with an expectation that regenerative medicine research and applications are predicted to reach $100 billion worldwide in the next quarter century.
