EMIT Imaging Presentation: Next-Generation Volumetric Animal and Tissue Imaging by Cryo-Fluorescence Tomography

McIntyre Building

The MRM Network is pleased to collaborate with EMIT Imaging for a seminar titled: Next-Generation Volumetric Animal and Tissue Imaging by Cryo-Fluorescence Tomography. Join us on April 18, 2024, at the McIntyre building to explore further insights into EMIT Imaging and Cryo-fluorescence tomography. Complimentary lunch will be provided by EMIT Imaging.

Cryo-Fluorescence Tomography is a whole-animal, volumetric imaging method that enables researchers to overcome the significant challenge of comprehensively documenting drug and cell distribution, protein expression, and other biochemical processes throughout the entire animal or tissue.

EMIT Imaging, the leader in CFT instrumentation and services, is pioneering hardware, software, and data science methods to support the advancement of this novel method. EMIT has developed the XerraTM, a state-of-the-art CFT platform currently used by pharmaceutical researchers across a broad range of application areas in preclinical research:

  • Whole-body cell and therapeutics distribution
  • Screening candidate therapeutics and delivery systems
  • Whole-body therapeutic protein expression
  • Multiplexed co-localization of drugs with targets
  • On target/off target tissue identification

Thursday, April 18
12:00 to 2:00 PM
