Hands-on workshop in 3D-printing & microfluidics for bioengineering

Montreal

The 13th annual Hands-on Workshop in Micro and Nano Bioengineering will be held from May 3rd to May 5th at McGill University in Montréal, Québec.

It will introduce participants to a range of techniques in micro & nano-biotechnology through a series of lectures and hands-on laboratory modules. The focus this year is on microfluidics, 3D printing, and 3D cell culture for Organ-on-a-Chip applications. The last day of the workshop includes a keynote lecture that is open to the public and advertised across universities in Montreal. This year, we are beyond excited to welcome Professor Dan Huh from the University of Pennsylvania as our keynote speaker.

The course is open to students, scientists, engineers, and industry professionals in any area of research who would like to learn more about micro and nanoscience technology in general. The course is of particular interest to biomedical researchers, chemists, physicists, as well as biomedical, mechanical, chemical, and materials engineers.

For more information regarding the event, please visit the workshop website.

The MRM Network is proud to sponsor this workshop and will award scholarships to MRM Trainees that would like to attend the event. If you are interested, please fill out this short form by Saturday, April 1, 2023.
